Beautiful vintage 1952 “Madame Alexander” “Walt Disney” “Snow White” “Margaret” faced doll. She is 18 inches high and hard plastic. She has a shiny black, glued-on wig in its original factory style. Sleep eyes with full lashes, and beautiful face paint. Movable head, arms and legs. She is wearing her complete original outfit consisting of her gown, metallic gold bodice, panties, socks and shoes. The gown is ivory background, with gold print, with full puffed sleeves, elastic at bottoms, fitted waist and very full skirt. It has an attached cotton petticoat, that is trimmed with lace. It snaps in the back. It is tagged Madame Alexander, Walt Disney, Snow White. The metallic gold bodice (vest) has attached collar that matches the gown, laces up the front with metallic gold cord. Cotton panties, trimmed with lace, that snap in the back. Knitted socks and metallic gold, front snap shoes. I have done my best to recreate her rhinestone tiara, rhinestone necklace with center teardrop pendant, glued-on rhinestone earrings and rhinestone bracelet, made from antique and vintage rhinestone pieces. I have added the ribbon to her hair and made her a nylon net petticoat, to make her skirt stand out nicely. She is in very good condition, her issues are: her eyes are shiny, but not the blue that they once were, there is light discoloration on the collar of the gold bodice and on the sleeves and bodice of dress. The print on the fabric is slightly faded in places. I have added new elastic to the bottoms of the puffed sleeves, there are a few very tiny holes in the sleeves near the elastic. The metallic gold fabric has split front and back of bodice, but it is backed with stiff cotton fabric and is stable. The cotton petticoat and panties are no longer as white as they once were, as well as the socks. The metallic gold shoes have worn to a silver look on some parts of them.
