Pretty in Pink! Lovely Vintage Cissy in Repro Pink Gingham

As many of these dolls are beautiful collectible treasures! This is a LOVELY vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll , dressed in a fresh, reproduction outfit. Cissy is 21 tall, with hard plastic body and soft vinyl sleeved arms and jointed knees. She has lovely facial features with pretty blue-green eyes that open and close easily, full lashes, peach eyelids, one stroke eyebrows, light cheek blush and full red mouth. Her honey blond wig is in its original set with lots of curls. As far as I can tell, she is clean and free of issues, other than some glue along the sides of her face near the wig line. Her knees and arms bend, and there are no cracks or splits to her body, but please inspect the photos and contact me with an questions. Her wonderful gingham reproduction day dress is made of crisp vintage taffeta in pink and white check with white net puffed sleeves and rhinestones on the bodice. Underneath she wears a white stiff net circular slip tagged Jane Miller and white taffeta panties with white val lace trim, seamed nylons, and new vintage-style pink strappy sandals. Her stunning natural straw portrait hat with pink roses and matching handbag are an original Retro-rich design and compliment the outfit perfectly! Her accessories include vintage white nylon hand gloves a must for the vintage lady! , vintage tear-drop earrings, pink pearl necklace with vintage clasp, gold faux rhinestone bracelet and diamond ring. She is simply said, “Pretty in Pink” and a lovely doll! Note: I have somehow misplaced one glove while photographing her, so will update this listing if I can find it, otherwise she will come with one glove only. No odors, smoke free environment. She has her original coloring no touch ups, beautiful blue eyes that work as they should with full original eyelashes, red lips, rosy cheeks, full brunette up-do wig with original curl. She is wearing a cream satin bra, cream satin and net slip, pink Cissy taffeta panties trimmed with val lace, vintage stockings, and boudoir slip on shoes pink with white bases and adorned with a rose, and original Cissy faux pearl tear drop earrings. The doll does have a small split on her inside right knee, a hip split on her left hip, and a hairline tiny split on her right hip all pictured in the last two pictures. The hip splits do not show when she is standing. She is a clean doll and displays nicely. Thank you for looking at my sale and have a wonderful Cissy filled day. Here for your consideration is a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll in excellent condition! Cissy is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows and knees. All her joints work properly. She is free of any splits and her vinyl arms are free of any chews. Her body is clean and the usual joint rubs are minimal. I note her head wobbles back and forth just a bit. She does have a few tiny random marks that you would expect to see on a doll of this vintage. Cissys face paint is all original. She has nicely blushed cheeks and a pretty bisque like complexion. She has lovely blue eyes and her brush eyelashes are nice and full. Cissys blonde wig was professionally restyled and I want to note that she does have hairspray in her hair to keep her curls in place. All in all this is a very nice doll that I think you will be happy to add to your collection. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have. She is Lovely, She is an 18 Madame Alexander Composition Bridesmaid, A/O Wendy Ann. She is circa 1940’s, full composition, she has light crazing throughout, she has light fading of her skin, possibly due to how she may have been displayed. She has no cracks, or missing composition, general rubs around leg and arm joints, and her neck. Her stringing is good, could be a little tighter, but she will pose elegantly. She is A/O, gown, panties, shoes, and floral headpiece, you don’t often find these dolls with the original headpiece. She may have had a muff, as some I have seen, she does not. Her gown is a light lavender, trimmed at the hem, waist, wrists, and top of sleeves with pink and green floral trim. The gown has no holes, rips, or tears, there are a few light stains within the folds. The gown may have been blue at one time as inside there is blue threading, it is tagged but the writing is worn in areas, there is an attached muslin type slip, gown closes in the back with 3 square snaps. She wears her original vintage cream scalloped edge panties, gold pin closure. Her shoes are also original, cream leatherette top tie, both soles and heels present. Her floral headpiece of green leaves, pink and very pale blue flowers is original to her, a bit flattened. Wendy Ann has the pensive expression, with cherry red pursed lips, lightly blushed cheeks, lower painted lashes, full upper brush lashes, clear light blue glassene sleep eyes, gray eye shadow, and thin stroked brows. She has honey blonde mohair, retaining most of her original set with soft curls framing her face and nape of her neck, a bit flattened in the back, and a few fuzzies as mohair most often does. Pretty Vintage 1950s 20 Alexander Cissy Doll Brunette Nude. This is a vintage 1950s 20 Madame Alexander Cissy doll with brunette hair and blue eyes. Cissy has a nice condition body and gorgeous face. She is hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has clear, blue sleep eyes with thick brush lashes, painted lower lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, light cheek blush and pretty pouty lips. Her thick brunette wig is in loose curls around her face. She has has two small seam cracks in her upper thighs repaired – the rest of her joints are crack and repair free. MARKED: Alexander on the back of her head. Good played with condition. Nicely painted facial features: eyebrows, lashes, lips and cheek blush. Working, clear, sleep eyes with thick brush lashes – a few replaced lashes in the middle. Thick wig has original curls and style. Even skin tone with a few small soil marks and one leg is slightly lighter than the other. Good condition fingers and toes. Strung fairly tightly, arms can hold a pose. Her head is firmly attached and sits upright. Small thigh cracks have both been repaired. Other joints are not chipped or cracked. Plastic and vinyl are free of chips, cracks, bites, chews and seam splits. No knee or crotch seam splits. Her legs can bend at the hip and knee using care. Clean and odor free. Here is a very pretty 17 inch Margaret O’brien. She has all hair and eyelashes and her eyes will open and close as they should. She is all original except her panties. She has very light crazing all over. There is a little dent or a scuff at the tip of her nose. She has a tiny crack on her left hand that starts at her thumb and goes to almost all of her fingers. This is the only crack that I see on her. Her pinafore has a large hole in front. The tag on her dress is very faded and not legible. Both socks have small holes in them. Her shoes look worn on the soles. Her panties are sewed together at the waist by a previous owner so they dont come down. The edge of her hat has a little straw missing in 2 places. Her right pinky finger has some soil on it. This may be some glue residue of some sort. There could possibly be a repair there but its hard to tell for sure. We are a smoke free home. Here is a very pretty vintage 20 Madame. She has a mohair. All hair is present. She may be missing. An eyelash or two on her left eye but its hard. To tell for sure. Her eyes will open and close. Her composition is pretty. Clean but it is very faded. Back are closer to her original color. Her stringing is very good. She has light crazing all over. There are no cracks around her head. Tiny crack left shoulder, one on left breast. One in crotch, one on her butt, and. Inside both of her thighs all the way at the top. The very tip of her right big toe is chipped. Believe that her dress is original but the. Rest of her clothes are not. It doesnt match the dress so I dont know. Pinafore has a few tiny holes in front.
