Be My Valentine, Maggie! Well, look who Cupid sent over an Oh-So-Cute little 14 strung Maggie! She’s wearing her all original red cotton dress with ivory collar & cuffs… A tiny black velvet bow punctuates the middle of the collar, and little pearl studs accent the turned up cuffs. The bodice center has a tucked & sewn placket with 3 silver studs down the center, which match the silver buckle on her tiny off-white belt. The dress has 2 front pockets, with one holding Maggie’s original vintage lace hanky! Closure is at the back with three square snaps. Please notice the crisp tag under the back collar – most of the tags on Maggie’s original clothing are generic with a size, while this. Tag reads, “Maggie” a rare find! Underneath Maggie wears her original eyelet-trimmed white cotton panties & slip set, and on her feet her original socks & black faux suede dress shoes a little of the gold has raveled off the right shoe lacing. This ensemble is in outstanding condition with no rips, holes, tears or odors. Maggie is carrying her original pink beauty box, and inside you’ll find six plastic hair rollers and a blue comb, all attached to the original cardboard. Little Maggie is absolutely beautiful; her features & coloring are gorgeous & all original. She has a gorgeous thick platinum wig with lots of curls, and the original brass barrettes are still in place. Maggie has crystal clear blue-green. Up for sale is this MINT IN BOX 14 vintage Madame Alexander. Kate Smith’s Annabelle with wrist tag. This doll is simply adorable! Her blonde hair is shiny, smooth and in original set– with the sides pulled up with a hair bar and large original aqua colored bow sitting on top. Her little Maggie face and coloring are fantastic. She wears a crisply tagged BRIGHT white dress with Peter Pan collar and white ric-rac trim. Her original, bright “Annabelle” sweater is in lovely condition as well, and closes in the back with square snaps. Her slip, panties and socks are still white as well. Her black, side-snap patented leather shoes are so cute with still very fuzzy soles. Her box is still in decent shape. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home. MINT & ALL ORIGINAL – MADAME ALEXANDER. Mc GUFFEY ANA’ – HARD PLASTIC DOLL. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Oh you little cutie! And that what this McGuffey Ana is – just a little cutie. She is 14 inches tall. For reference see page #32 in “Doll Values” 13th Edition by Linda Edward. She was made from 1948 to 1950 by Madame Alexander. She is mint and all original. Just take a look at her facial painting – excellent. She does not have any splits or cracks in her plastic. However, I have not removed her clothing so as to maintain her originality. Just looks at the curls – they have their original set. What a wonderful doll. This doll truly is stunning to look at. Her tagged twilight Blue taffeta dress is crisp and the collar and sleeve cuffs are still rather white! SHe has a cute little matching taffeta belt that fastens with a pearl belt loop. Her pink velvet hat is darling and ties with a matching pink satin bow at her chin. Her socks are fairly wite, she carries a black and gold hat box with original cardboard Binnie tag, and curlers and comb still on the original card. Her coloring is beautiful (cheeks, eyebrows, eye-shadow, lips etc,) Her Eyes are piercing blue with thick, full lashes. Her curls are still shiny and tightly in original curled set. Her original “Binnie” box and original tissue is still in fairly nice condition, but the box does have some light age wear and age staining. She has a walking style body like the others in the Me and My Shadow series. She has be blue eyes, VERY long thick eyelashes, nice even two stroke brows, and soft pink cheeks. Her shiny blonde hair has curled under bangs and soft curl clusters at the nape of her neck, all nearly flawless and in original set. Her crisply tagged gown is slate blue, soft taffeta with elaborate silk braid and loop-trimmed panniers on her hips and bustle drapery down the back. She has lace trimmed tulle sleevelets, and netting stockings. She wears a light cream, taffeta, loop trimmed petticoat with a hoop that accentuates the bustle in the back, and attached lace-trimmed pantaloons in fantastic condition. Her shoes are lovely with almost flawless fuzz still on the soles. Her original lace hat is a light cream with original flowers and original pink satin ribbon that ties nicely at her chin. Her original pink velvet handbag is in nice condition, and she also carries a white and gold Madame Alexander hat box also in lovely condition. She is really a very lovely doll from the desirable Me and My Shadow Portrait series, and comes from a smoke and pet-free home. Look at the photos carefully and ask questions.
