Just in time for the holidays – An extremely rare, early 1950’s, Maggie Margot Ballerina by Madame Alexander. Original tagged and double layered pink tutu w/ gold accents, flowers, & matching satin slippers. She’s wearing a matching floral headpiece. Hair is tied up into her black net snood at her neck. Clear sleep eyes, working perfectly, with beautiful eyelashes. Pretty black ribbon tied around her neck into a bow. Original gold wrist-tag tied to her right wrist! Smoke free home, kept in a box which deteriorated. We believe this was the label that was on her box, but we may have mixed them up. If anyone knows, and can offer assistance, please contact me. I would be grateful. She has a couple tiny specks below her mouth and one on her right cheek. I’m too scared of damaging her to try and remove so I’ll leave that to your discretion. I’m not a doll expert, but other than the couple tiny specks she hasn’t any marks, chips, scuffs, cracks, fading, holes, tears, or anything that I can detect. The doll appears to have never been played with. I’d say she’s in excellent or near mint condition. Fabulous HTF Vintage Madam Alexander ELISE BRIDE , # 1735 from 1960. In Original Box but s very fragile although intact. She is so very near mint with just a couple of tiny flaws. Please note there is a tiny brown stain right on the hemline edge, there is also a crease in the satin near the hemline that should iron out well. She has gorgeous coloring and complexion, beautiful blue eyes that function freely, full lashes, no smells, smoke or odors. She has her pearl necklace and earrings but DOES NOT have her diamond ring. Undergarments are excellent including stockings, garter, panties, slip and shoes. Elastic on the shoes is just a wee bit loose. A FABULOUS DOLL “McGUFFEY ANA”. By MADAME ALEXANDER – Hard Plastic – Circa: 1950’s. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Here is a fabulous Madame Alexander – “McGuffey Ana” hard plastic doll. She is 14 inches tall. For price reference see page #32 in the book,’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. This terrific doll is all original and is in mint condition. Her facial painting is like it was painted yesterday instead of in the 1950’s. Her hard plastic has no flaws and no splits in the plastic. She has no repainting as examined by a black light. Her dress is tagged as you can see in a photo. Her lace trimmed apron has a little age dust but can be cleaned if you think that is best. She has a nice blue floral print dress with lace on the arms. She wears her original lace trimmed slip and underpants. Of course, her long socks and her red leather shoes/boots are original. Very rare for me to be able to offer you a MIB vintage Alexander, yet she is so near mint… The exception for me to NOT consider her MIB is her shoes. The elastic has stretched out, minor detail since they are still here which is a near rarity in itself. Stunning vintage LISSY in her original box, never played with, looks like never displayed. Gorgeous color, eyes are a little tight, they do not flutter freely. Free from any smells or odors. Dress is sharp and crisp, wonderful hat, beautiful original hairdo, she is still completely strung. This SOUGHT AFTER vintage original Cissy doll is a RARE FIND, as they are coveted by collectors who simply cannot have enough of this elegant FASHION DOLL! This AUTHENTIC Cissy doll is circa middle 1950’s, originating from a collection including several original Cissy doll apparel items which we will be offering for sale shortly under separate listings! Cissy measures 21 tall and will come to you in a wonderful vintage two piece LINGERIE ENSEMBLE consisting of a white cotton bra with pink rick-rack trim and matching white pink trimmed panties with an elasticized waist! The outfit is accessorized with her original SEAMED NYLONS that do have a few holes and runs, but mostly at the top, and a pair of refurbished vintage elastic PINK SANDALS with original pink plastic high heels, allowing a snug fit around her feet! Cissy also wears a vintage PEARL NECKLACE most likely made by The Premier Doll Company, who Madame Alexander used to outfit Cissy with various accessories including jewelry and purses! To complete her outfit Cissy has a vintage faux DIAMOND RING that she wears on her pinkie, adding a little bit of glitz to an already GLAMOROUS GIRL! The doll herself is just lovely; beautiful HAZEL BLUE eyes with original DARK LASHES, lovely deeply painted ROSE LIPS, very subtly blushed cheeks, and beautiful BLONDE HAIR with little tendrils framing her face that has been gathered in the back with a vintage pink ribbon! As common with Cissy there are some missing eyelashes on her right eye and a few stray hairs with some residual glue on one side and under the back of the wig, but in our opinion do little to detract from her INFAMOUS BEAUTY! Cissy’s body is simply AMAZING; jointed at the neck and arms at the top of the torso, elbows and hand, and jointed legs at the hip and knees, which still retain a light blushing! Her head, FEMALE SHAPED torso and legs are made of HARD PLASTIC; her arms and hands are of soft plastic or vinyl for easy posing!
