Vintage 1950’s Madame Alexander CISSY Doll with Dress Undergarments Can Can Slip

Lovely vintage 1950s Cissy doll by Madame Alexander. Marked “ALEXANDER” on the back of her head. She measures 20 inches tall. Blonde (reddish tone) wig with some tightly rolled curls on her right side of her face. Hair is a bit mussed and could use a bit of styling. She does NOT have pierced ears. Hard plastic body with vinyl jointed arms. Blushed hands and knees. Really pretty face paint and a lovely sweet expression on her face. She will hold a pose. She sits and can bend her knees. Her head is a little wobbly. He eyes open and close. Some of her right eye lashes are missing. Her left eye lashes are full. She has a brass doll ring on her right hand original to Cissy???? and when removed you will notice there is some verdigris (discoloration) on her right ring finger from the ring being there for a long time. I have not tried to remove the discoloration. She is wearing a cute Tulip Print cotton circle skirt and matching blouse. The blouse is missing the snaps on the back so it is pinned in place. She is wearing what I believe to be her original Cissy Can Can rick rack taffeta slip with her panties with lace trim. The slip’s waist elastic has stretched out some. There are a couple of spots on the slip and a couple of small tears. Panties waist is fairly tight. Did not notice any tears or spots on the panties. The skirt and blouse has been freshly hand laundered and no spots or tears noted. I did not wash the slip or panties. Comes with her seamed stockings with elastic at the top. Elastic is in good condition and stays up. There is a small hole on the back of one nylon stocking at the calf. And noticed a small hole on the heel of her left foot. She has some rub marks on both sides of her neck. Rub marks on both side of her inner legs. No cracks noted on her legs or body. Small mark on the back of her right leg at calf where I think her stocking has gotten stuck on her leg over the years. I have not tried to remove the residue from the seamed stocking on her leg for fear of doing damage to her body. Will leave that to the doll experts. Small mark glue residue?? on the back of her upper left thigh right under her buttock. Her soft vinyl left arm has a small tear near the underarm. It was noticed when I pulled her arm a little further out of the joint. No chew marks on her hands. PLEASE look at all the photos and fully read the description.
