And I believe he has ONE ARM BENT AT THE ELBOW—I have not undressed him. I believe he has the SLENDER ONE PIECE “PORTRAIT DOLL” ARMS not the jointed vintage Cissy doll arms. HE WEARS AN ALL ORIGINAL ENSEMBLE: WHITE ORIGINAL BRAIDED WIG with ORIGINAL SIDE CURLS & ORIG BLACK RIBBONS. ORIGINAL TRI-CORNERED BRAIDED HAT with original medallion button, plus ADDED GREY OSTRICH FEATHERS & IRIDESCENT PEACOCK FEATHER. ORIGINAL “CAMEL” COLOR WOOL COAT with ORIGINAL GOLD BUTTONS ON CUFFS & COAT, AND ON BACK where COAT PANELS attach to each other—gold “silk” lining with two side “pockets” and five stitched “buttonholes” (the pockets and buttonholes are stitched closed). ORIGINAL FRENCH LONG SLEEVE RUFFLED WHITE BLOUSE w/ TIE. COPPER & GOLD BROCADE VEST with ORIGINAL GOLD BUTTONS, BRAID TRIMMED “POCKETS” w/ gold button decor. A RARE MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY “ANGEL” POCKET WATCH PIN has been added, pinned to one vest “pocket”. ORIGINAL DARK BROWN VELVET PANTS—tucked under boots—they a “knee high” in length. ORIGINAL TAN “LEATHERETTE” HIGH BOOTS w/ ORIGINAL CARVED HIGH HEELS & GOLD CHAINS—Both boots show “AGE RELATED WEAR” ON TOES with some cracks & peeling of leatherette. THIS DOLL IS A 21 MODERN CISSY DOLL with ORIGINAL FACE COLOR: NATURAL COLOR LIPS & CHEEK BLUSH, MINI-STROKE BOLD BROWS & side eye lashes & corner eye detailing (please see close-up photo). ORIGINAL SLEEP EYES: BLACK PUPIL BROWN EYES with ORIG FULL BRUSH LASHES. EXTRAS ADDED: BLACK FACETED STUD EARRINGS. ONE SINGLE BURGUNDY PARCHMENT ROSE. & RARE MADAME ALEXANDER “GOLD” ANGEL POCKET WATCH PIN with roman numerals & tiny painted watch hands reading “10:12″. THREE ORIGINAL HUNTING DOGS: WHITE SPOTTED STITCHED HOUNDS with metal inserts in tails for posing, and metal inserts in legs for posing. These three dogs came to my collection with “LOUIS” never having been removed from their original box. They were stacked one on top of the other—so their ears tended to “fly away”. I have added “pearl” pins on the underside of each ear to hold them closer to their heads in more natural positions. Pins can easily be removed. HOUNDS ARE WELL STITCHED—A “SUEDE” FEEL FABRIC—AND EACH DOG HAS ITS ORIGINAL 2004 MADAME ALEXANDER TAG stitched on the center underside seam. THESE 3 DOGS AND THIS DOLL were originally part of a pair of Pompadour Dolls—“FALL POMPADOUR” PAIR—resembling the “FOX HUNTING ATTIRE” OF KING LOUIS XV. I added earrings to this doll because my research indicated that KING LOUIS XV wore earrings! They can easily be removed should you so choose—I actually really prefer him WITH THE BLACK EARRINGS—THEY ADD ELEGANCE and are a CONTRAST TO HIS WHITE WIG! THIS DOLL IS A MODERN CISSY DOLL: slender one piece arms, TWIST WAIST, jointed knees & high heel feet. This doll has been on display in a place of honor in my SMOKE FREE, PET FREE DOLL ROOM, protected from sunlight & temperature extremes, with Madame Pompadour—shown in the photos but not included with this listing—she is listed separately. This doll has head tilt for “posing with attitude”, but his arms have limited “pose-ability” due to the fitted nature of his thick wool coat. His legs can be repositioned for varied “strut” positions, however I have never seated him due to fear of creasing his boots. HE IS A JOY TO POSE WITH THE LADIES!
